About Resource Exchange
Resource Exchange is an integrated software house and printer, based in the Thames Valley. Our
services are aimed at: 1) Art owners and art copyright holders, such as art galleries, artists, and
professional photographers; 2) Collectors and art connoiseurs that want to buy high quality
prints of fine art; 3) Consumers that want to buy high quality prints of their own photographs.
Although our systems and staff are fully integrated across these three activities, we brand them
separately - as Resource Exchange, Resex and MyPhotoPrint, respectively. We also have an equity or
business interest in several intellectual property owners, looking after the commercialisation of
their images.Our background
Resource Exchange was formed by (and still largely staffed by) former IT professionals that have
become disenchanted with the politics and frustrations of senior management life in big companies.
We have chosen to revert to hands-on work because we love it. Never-the-less, we bring a huge wealth
of commercial skills and experience, as well as dedication and technical excellence, to everything
we now do.About Resex
Our Resex brand was formed to commercialise artistic intellectual property. We produce, market
and sell image usage licenses and high quality giclée prints of fine art and professional
photographs. All our source images are fully licensed from their owners and copyright holders. |
Our goal
Our objective is to provide the public, wherever they may live, with access to superb quality
yet affordable art, while at the same time helping to fund the galleries, artists and photographers
that own or produce original works. All of our profits are re-invested in artists and art galleries.Our product and technique
To ensure the best possible source material, we take our own medium format photographs and
make our own high resolution scans. We then work with curators, artists or photographers, digitally
adjusting our image until it acurately represents the original work as closely as possible. We
produce prints using our own Epson 9600/7600 printers and the highest quality printing materials.
Prints are temporarily stored in chemically inert Melinex sleeves before being posted in a Correx
sandwich with acid free tissue lining.Customer service
All our prints are made to order, so we can tailor our service exactly to suit your needs. If you
